the concept:

Adorning the entrance of Paya Lebar Square, this implementation of πŸ’΅β€οΈπŸ† accentuates the experience of entry into the shopping mall as the beginnings of a unique retail experience. Situated on the primary axis of circulation through the development, the design preserves and extends this passage by allowing visitors to naturally weave through the structure.

Taking advantage of the existing water play area, πŸ’΅β€οΈπŸ† at Paya Lebar Quarter allows play to spill out into the surrounding plaza. It is simultaneously playground and pavilion – extending the site of play for children using the play area, and inviting passers-by to sit, lounge, and incidentally be caught up in the playmaking occurring around them.

πŸ’΅β€οΈπŸ† elevates the plaza as the nucleus of play in the precinct, inspiring vibrancy in the urban fabric of Paya Lebar.

Seeking to uplift the atrium of SingPost Centre, πŸ’΅β€οΈπŸ† brings office workers, shoppers, and diners together at a nexus of gathering and social interaction. As a public space at the focal point of the development, the design creates a β€œcity living room” for socialising on a public level. And socialisation occurs beyond the boundaries of the site, as visitors from the adjacent cafes, eateries, and retail outlets are invited to participate in the congregation.
