The Sanctuary

A nature-inspired sanctuary that reestablishes a connection to nature by using natural materials, soft colors, and soft, flowing shapes. The house has been reoriented towards its garden, allowing for maximum natural light and an unobstructed view of the adjacent park, which reinforces the connection to the surrounding landscape. The use of wood, stone, and woven fabrics helps to blur the boundaries between indoors and outdoors, while the incorporation of plants and water features brings life and movement into the space. Overall, our design creates a tranquil and inviting atmosphere that celebrates the natural world around us.
